Mr. Isaacson is a Corporate Architect in Novell's Chief Technology Office. Scott has an MS in Computer Science from Stanford, with graduate research work in Distributed Object Computing. Scott joined Novell in 1992. Before that, he worked at Bell Labs (Lucent) on Unix applications in network management and embedded systems. At Novell, Scott has lead efforts in the design and development of Internet services, web application servers, and distributed event systems. In 1998 Scott was editor and principal author for the IETF RFC on Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) Model and Semantics. Scott has participated in the W3C, OMG, SNIA, and has presented at various industry conferences and workshops.
